Established in 1994, Jill Thayer Galleries at the Fox
presents regionally and internationally recognized
contemporary artists through selected exhibition.
Located at the historic Fox Theater in downtown
Bakersfield, Jill renovated the space under the
marquee of the theater arcade. The building was
originally designed by architect S. Charles Lee
in 1930. The gallery works in tandem with academic
institutions to further develop education in the Arts
and offers multi-cultural genres of all media. Art
consultation and commissioned work is available
for corporate and private collection.
